Note to self: the moon is very, very far away. Get a longer lens! Preferably before the next eclipse.
I took a few shots but gave up in the end as I finally admitted defeat. After viewing preliminary shots in Aperture and trying to blow it up, the lens I had was nowhere near long enough. Ggrrr.
